With the teens of Avengers Arena having been trapped on Murder Island (it’s not really called that) for almost 30 days, it’s about time someone cracked. While this issue is told from Reptil’s point of view, it’s really Hazmat we feel for the most. Each issue follows a different character, but she feels like the series protagonist because she was the first, and most compelling, of the bunch. Here, she has this survivor’s-guilt-turned-nihilism that allows Dennis Hopeless to dig in and again validate the existence of this series.
