Battlefield developer DICE has confirmed that it isn't currently working on a new entry in the Bad Company series.
The statement was made in response to a fan question about the Bad Company series on the franchise's Twitter.
@slayvapor We love the Bad Company series, but don't have it in active development. Battlefield 4 is our main focus for the year.— Battlefield (@Battlefield) June 1, 2013
The last Bad Company game, Bad Company 2, was released back in 2010. Games in the subseries tend to have a larger focus on humour and single-player, while main series entries like Battlefield 3 have focused more on multiplayer as DICE tries to take down Call of Duty.
