Buffy the Vampire Slayer vet Marti Noxon has come aboard to write the MGM reboot of Tomb Raider.
Variety has the report, though details regarding the plotline for Lara Croft's return to the big screen remain scarce at the moment.
Iron Man's Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby were reported in March to be working on the script for the reboot. It's not clear if Noxon will be rewriting their draft or starting from scratch.
Lara of course was previously played by Angelina Jolie in two big-screen entries for Paramount. When the rights lapsed, producer Graham King picked them up and took the property to MGM.
