Like most things to do with Diablo 3, the recently announced PlayStation 3 and 4 versions have rekindled the fires of controversy among fans (and anti-fans). Does the absence of an always-online connection - and associated lag - and the real-money auction house make these versions a superior Diablo 3 experience relative to its native PC version? Having spent a short time with it on PS3, I don’t know if it’s better, but it’s more different than I expected. The control changes made to adapt it to the Dual Shock controller make this a different style of action RPG - one that requires considerably less precision in targeting specific enemies. .
