Verily, this comic is fantastic. Thor: God of Thunder has always been one of the stronger titles among the Marvel NOW! lineup, but with this new arc it's been making a strong case for being the best of them all. All the pieces have fallen into place now that the Thors of past, present, and future have united to defeat Gorr once and for all. Issue #9 chronicles that fight in all its epic, violent glory. The fact that this is merely the third chapter in a five-issue arc makes it obvious victory will remain elusive for now, but that doesn't make the contents any less enjoyable.
