We mourned earlier this year when Bruce Wayne's son and most recent Robin, Damian Wayne, was taken away from us at the hands of Leviathan in Batman Incorporated #8. Granted, this is superhero comics, so how dead is dead?
Not so dead, as it turns out.
Why Damian Wayne is the Best Robin
The New York Post revealed that Damian would be making a return in a 4-issue mini-series in October, dubbed Damian: Son of Batman, written and illustrated by Andy Kubert. But before you get too excited/angry, let it be known that this appears to be similar to an Elseworlds story exploring the possible future Gotham City (like we saw in Batman #666) where Damian has taken up the mantle of Batman.
