It’s been known for quite awhile that an Avatar-themed land is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom park at Walt Disney World, but at this weekend’s D23 Expo, the project was teased a bit. In the Journey Into Imagineering section, focused on the past, present and future of the many Disney Parks and Resorts, there is an area set up to look like a modern Imagineers office. Everything in this office is specifically tied into Avatar and the research and development of the theme park area.
