Warning: full episode spoilers follow.
After a pretty underwhelming debut for Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. this weekend, I was really hoping Avengers Assemble would pick up the slack. Luckily, it lived up to those expectations, resulting in the second episode that really feels strong enough to stand alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The fact that this was the first Assemble episode to actively reference the EMH time period certainly didn't hurt.
