Warning: SPOILERS for all of AMC's Breaking Bad, bitch.
"Technically, chemistry is the study of matter. But I prefer to see it as the study of change."
"It is growth, then decay, then transformation."
- Walter White
This Sunday, August 11th, Walter White's six year transformation from (according to series creator Vince Gilligan) "Mr. Chips to Scarface" begins to wrap things up as Breaking Bad kicks off its final eight episodes. Walter's done a ton of terrible things over the years; slowly escalating from desperate self-defense to panicked plotting to maniacal murder. He's gone from being suicidal, to being deceitful, to boastful, to vengeful. At several points over the series he's also actually been regretful, but his passion for power and privilege pushed him past those points when he could have turned around and put a stop to his crimes.
