After a Japanese magazine revealed yesterday that Mega Evolutions were coming to Pokemon X and Y, Nintendo has released a load of supporting information and video on new features and Pokemon.
As reported yesterday, Super Evolutions are new super-powerful forms for Pokemon like Mewtwo and Lucario. Using Mega Evolutions will change a Pokemon's appearance, abilities, even type. Mega Evolutions only happen during battles, and Mega Evolved Pokemon will revert to their normal forms once the conflict is over. It's controlled by items called Mega Stones, which will be hidden well all over Pokemon X and Y's new continent.
