DC Comics caught up to Marvel Comics a bit in last month's sales figures according to Diamond Comic Distributors. The publisher clocked in at a 32.50% dollar share and 34.07% unit share, compared to Marvel's 32.34% and 36.47% respectively. Overall, sales of comics were up about 7.5% compared to June 2013 and about 11% compared to July of last year.
The top ten best-sellers of July looks like this:

- Guardians of the Galaxy #5 (Marvel)
- Justice League #22 (DC)
- Batman Annual #2 (DC)
- Batman/Superman #2 (DC)
