Deathstroke is another DC villain who wasn't exactly in need of an origin story given the fact that he had his own New 52 series for a while and factored prominently in the short-lived Team 7. But another look back at Slade Wilson's early years is on the menu this month. Teen Titans #23.2's main selling point is that it's written by Corey May and Dooma Wendschuh, two writers who also worked on the Batman: Arkham Origins video game. But while it's always nice to see new blood in the New 52, nothing about their take on Deathstroke is particularly compelling. And who said Deathstroke needed reinventing in the first place?
