Bill Murray is going back to the world of ghosts, if not ghostbusting.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the one and only Peter Venkman has joined the voice cast of DreamWorks Animation’s B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations.
The film is a “supernatural action comedy
follows two bumbling apparitions who find themselves in an extraordinary afterlife adventure when they join the Bureau of Otherworldly Operations (B.O.O.) -- the ghost world’s elite counter-haunting unit -- and ultimately must face off against the planet’s greatest haunter.”
Murray will offer up his dulcet tones as the bad-guy ghost Addison Drake, who apparently needs to be busted. Jennifer Coolidge and Octavia Spencer have joined the film too, with Seth Rogen, Melissa McCarthy, Rashida Jones, and Matt Bomer all previously announced as part of the cast. Igor’s Tony Leondis is directing for a June 5, 2015 release.
