Life was starting to look bleak for Otto Octavius by the time "Necessary Evil" wrapped up. And while Otto seems to have regrouped as this new arc begins, it's quickly becomes apparent that Dan Slott is only setting him up for a bigger fall in the months ahead. This issue lives up to its promise as far as offering a tantalizing glimpse of what the near future holds for Spider-Man and his circle of friends and enemies.
