Charles Soule’s Swamp Thing has been a horror-filled treat with a surprising sense of humor, but he takes a step toward more typical superhero fare with this issue. We uncover the identity of the villainous Seeder and learn what he’s all about, but this chapter doesn’t have anything as memorable as the previous Whisky Tree or Murder Poet storylines. Seeder has been on the outskirts so long that it is good to finally put the spotlight on him, although it comes with the price of this title’s quirkiness.
