Not counting today's annual issue (which should ideally be read first) Wolverine and the X-Men #38 is the first installment of the series to explore the fallout of Battle of the Atom. Wolverine and the other instructors at the Jean Grey School are understandably miffed that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been hiding its own armada of Sentinels, and that puts them in direct conflict with Maria Hill and Dazzler. If that were the extent of issue #38, it would be a decent enough read, but Aaron thankfully focuses just as much attention on the many students of the school.
