In July Sony Pictures confirmed that there will be at least two more Spider-Man movies after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters in May 2014. And everybody assumed star Andrew Garfield would reprise his role as the titular hero in all of them. But now, according to the man himself, that may not be the case.
Yahoo! Movies UK recently sat down with director Marc Webb and the cast of Spidey 2, including Garfield, Emma Stone, and Jamie Foxx. Most of the interview is dedicated to the usual gushing: intense action, great script, the sequel will be bigger, more epic, more emotional, etc. Garfield even says he cried at the pitch meeting, which, um, okay.
