Eufloria HD Announced for PlayStation Vita IGN All

Back in 2011, a quirky and unique real-time strategy game came to PlayStation 3. It was called Eufloria, and it was pretty good.


Now, a couple of years after its release, developer Omni Systems has ported its game to PlayStation Vita. It’s due out on December 17th in North America and December 18th in Europe. No price has been disclosed, but the original on PS3 cost $9.99.


Interestingly, Omni Systems’ Creative Director, Rudolf Kremers, notes that this isn’t just any port: “This Vita version is quite different, but in a very positive way,” he writes. For instance, on Vita, Eufloria runs at 60 frames-per-second instead of 30, which in turn makes the controls more responsive. “It’s a different feel from the PS3 version,” Kremers said. Naturally, Eufloria HD supports touch controls on Vita, too.
