Marvel has been renewing focus on the original graphic novel format in recent months. They kicked off a new wave of OGNs set in current, Marvel NOW continuity with Warren Ellis and Mike McKone's Avengers: Endless Wartime. That will be followed up early next year with Mark Waid and Gabrielle Dell'Otto's Spider-Man: Family Business.
And now USA Today has revealed the third entry in this series of graphic novels. Mike Carey and Salvador Larroca are teaming for an X-Men-themed OGN called X-Men: No More Humans. As the title suggests, the book explores what happens when all the humans on Earth disappear, leaving mutants in control of the planet. Despite this concept, the book will be firmly entrenched in the franchise's post-Battle of the Atom continuity. The cast includes members of both Wolverine and Cyclops' schools, including the time-displaced original X-Men. The villain Raze from Battle of the Atom will also be a major player thanks to his knowledge of the future.
