You guys. Holy crap, you guys. It was only a couple weeks ago that I was "complaining" about having to write my longest Comics Run ever. Well, this week slapped on a Bane mask, said something unintelligible, and snapped that Comics Run over its knee. The only question now is which will break first - my spirit, or my keyboard.
Probably the latter, because is it really such a bad thing to have so many comics to wade through? What's even more refreshing is the knowledge that so many of these big releases fall outside the Big Two. Image, Dynamite, and IDW are all having a great Wednesday this week.
The culprit behind this embarrassment of riches is obvious. The final Wednesday of this month is also Christmas, which effectively makes this a three-Wednesday month for most publishers. There's a lot of content to work through, and I assume that means next week will be similarly packed. I'm too afraid to actually look and confirm this.
