IDW Publishing has done a bang-up job bringing Cartoon Network properties Powerpuff Girls and Samurai Jack to comics. Both were well-received by the Review Crew here on IGN, with special recognition going to the artists for their amazing interpretations and the writers for pushing the boundaries for the respective characters, not to mention that they were just a whole lot of fun. But now it's Dexter's turn!
IGN had a chat with Dexter's Laboratory wrtier Derek Fridolfs and series editor Sarah Gaydos to get their reactions on the first wave of CN comics and hear what they have in store for Dexter's next adventure.
IGN Comics: As someone who grew up watching all of Genndy Tartakovsky's shows on Cartoon Network, I was more than a little excited to see IDW publishing all of these new comics. Samurai Jack and Powerpuff Girls were both well-received here on IGN, and now Dexter's Lab will be making its debut. Before we get into the specifics of Dexter, could you let us know what you think about the fan response to those other two titles?
