Starting in 2007, Disney Parks, as a promotion for Disneyland and Walt Disney World, have been releasing a photo series called Disney Dream Portraits. These photos, from acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz, depict celebrities as iconic Disney characters - either from Disney animated films or theme park attractions. Previous photos have included Scarlett Johansson as Cinderella, Olivia Wilde as the Evil Queen & Alec Baldwin as the Magic Mirror from Snow White and Jack Black, Jason Segel & Will Ferrell as the hitchhiking ghosts from The Haunted Mansion.
This past week, Disney released the latest photo in this series, entitled "Where Your Destiny Awaits." The photo features Two-Time Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain (The Help, Zero Dark Thirty) as Princess Merida, from Disney / Pixar's Brave. The photo marks the first in the Disney Dream Portrait series to come from a Pixar film.
