Square Enix has announced it's working on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's patch 2.2, which is set to bring Leviathan to Eorzea.
Following on from the release of patch 2.1 in December, the developer is now working on additional content for the game alongside preparing for the imminent PS4 beta, which kicks off on February 22.
There's no timeframe for the release of patch 2.2, but it'll apparently add new quests, items and recipes, alongside expanding the Binding Coil of Bahamut and bringing Leviathan to the world of Eorzea. We've been told the keyword for the patch is "Maelstrom", and we can expect to find out what that means in due course.
