The trailer for The Raid 2: Berandal has surfaced, and it's quite a kick to the head.
Starring Iko Uwais, reprising his role as Rama, The Raid 2 takes the cop to Jakarta, where he must infiltrate the criminal underworld undercover.
While the sequel appears to be dropping the claustrophobic bottle narrative of its predecessor (though the prison element could fill that role) it looks to be just as tense. The fights look teeth gnashingly painful and those car stunts are spectacular.
Gareth Evans, who wrote and directed The Raid, appears to be trying to outdo himself in every way possible.
The Raid 2: Berandal will have a limited release on March 28, 2014.
