Part Six Million Dollar Man, part Chuck, the Michael Seitzman-developed action-drama series Intelligence is a notable addition to the procedural lineup on CBS for ushering in Josh Holloway's eagerly-awaited return to TV. The Lost actor has cropped up in a few projects since his final bow as Sawyer -- Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and a memorable guest spot on Community, for example -- but Intelligence marks his first major role on television since 2010.
Holloway plays Gabriel Vaughn, a high-tech intelligence operative who's been enhanced with a supercomputer microchip in his brain, giving him access to the World Wide Grid (basically, a comprehensive network of valuable information and tech support). As a primary field agent, Gabriel works for Lillian Strand (CSI's Marg Helgenberger), director of U.S. Cyber Command and a top secret tech branch known only as Clockwork. Viewing Gabriel as an incredibly valuable asset, Lillian hires Secret Service agent Riley Neal (Meghan Ory) to protect him and act as his partner and personal bodyguard.
