Another of 2K's studios will soon be shuttered following a restructuring that will see development resources diverted to other locations, including 2K's California-based headquarters, the company announced today.
Eurogamer initially reported that 2K Czech's Prague office was to be shut down. The Prague office is where development on Mafia III was believed to be underway. According to the report, some of the staff not being laid off would head to another 2K Czech location in Brno where Mafia II was developed, while 10 key personnel would come to 2K Games' headquarters in Novato, California.
