Nintendo Has High Holiday Sales in Japan IGN All

Nintendo sold a plethora of software and hardware units over the holiday break in Japan, with eight of the top ten games belonging to Nintendo platforms.


Topping the chart is The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, with almost 226,000 units sold on the 3DS. Puzzle & Dragons Z and Pokemon X & Y followed closely behind, with 199,000 and 156,000, respectively, according to Famitsu's sales charts between Dec. 23 and 29.


According to the chart, which was translated on a Neogaf forum, 3DS sales continued to be strong, with almost 209,000 units sold in Japan –– Nintendo's Wii U console sold a little more than 79,000.
