First it was Jack Ryan. Now it's Frankenstein. The comedy hit Ride Along continued to demolish the return of old movie icons this weekend, trouncing new release I, Frankenstein to remain the No. 1 movie at the North American box office.
Ride Along pulled in an estimated $21.2 million to top the weekend box office. I, Frankenstein debuted in sixth place with an estimated $8.3 million. Holdover Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit slipped to fifth place with roughly $8.8 million; its domestic total to date is $30.2 million. Ride Along's is $75.4 million.
