Chart-Track released its sales data numbers for video game hardware (obtained by Eurogamer) for 2013. They are as follows:
- 1. 3DS (including 2DS, XL) - up 4%
- 2. Xbox 360 - down 30.7%
- 3. PlayStation 4
- 4. PlayStation 3 - down 31%
- 5. Xbox One
- 6. Vita - down 41%
- 7. Wii U - up 41.5%
- 8. Wii - down 72%
The family of 3DS products, which includes the 2DS and the 3DS XL, topped the overall hardware charts. This comes as no surprise, as the 3DS had a tremendous year with games like The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X&Y, and Fire Emblem: Awakening.
