The Mattel toy line Max Steel is on its way to becoming a movie, and now the hoped-for next Transformers -- as opposed to the next Battleship -- has its stars.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ben Winchell and Ana Villafane have signed on to headline the live-action Max Steel film.
The news comes out of Berlin's European Film Market, where producers Dolphin Films International and Mattel are presenting the project to buyers. Of course, the word is that Max Steel will be the first in a series. (Like Transformers, not Battleship.)
