Minecraft has passed the 14 million sales mark on PC and Mac, bringing lifetime sales across all platforms to at least 35 million.
The figure was confirmed by creator Markus "Notch" Persson in a tweet, though an ticker on the game's site also reveals the exact number.
While we don't get such insight into how Minecraft fares on other platforms, we do get updates from time to time. The PS3 version passed the million mark last week, managing to do so in just five weeks. In December, it was revealed that the Xbox 360 version had sold more than 10 million copies. The Pocket Edition on mobile platforms also hit the 10 million mark last year. Taken together, this gives us a conservative total of 35 million, though the actual figure is likely to be higher.
