Last year, Razer announced its Game Booster software, capable of optimizing PC performance by eliminating unnecessary background processes while you're playing a game. Today, the company is launching a beta version of a new feature for Game Booster, called Save Game Manager. According to Razer, the new cloud-save functionality will offer a way to archive saves from a multitude of compatible games directly to your existing storage account.
Save Game Manager will automatically back up game save files for over 2,000 existing PC titles, and it's also possible to manually add other games (pretty much anything with local save files) on your own. The files are backed up to your Dropbox account, but Razer is planning to offer compatibility with other cloud storage providers in the future. Beyond game saves, Save Game Manager can also store PC settings in the cloud, similar to Nvidia's GeForce Experience.
