Microsoft has announced that its classic RTS Age of Mythology is being polished up with modern features for a May release on Steam.
Age of Mythology: Extended Edition includes both the base game and the Titans expansion, as well as the campaign add-on Golden Gift. It's undergoing a visual overhaul that includes improved rendering of water and lighting, shadows, bump maps, and antialising. You can check out some of the polished-up visuals in our gallery below.
This new AoM release comes with full Steam integration, including multiplayer, achievements, trading cards, cloud saves, and mod management via the Steam Workshop.
