With his series Nikita having just wrapped up a few months ago, Craig Silverstein is not wasting any time, as his his new show, Turn, debuts this Sunday on AMC.
Turn is another spy story, but one with a very different feel from Nikita. Set during the American Revolution, Turn — based on the book Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose — tells the true story of the Culper Ring, credited as America’s first spy ring. Jamie Bell stars as Abraham Woodhull, who is recruited by this ring to help gather information on the British, though it’s not something Abe is eagerly looking to do.
