Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
With several strong episodes of late, I'm feeling like Agents of SHIELD may have finally found its groove. It doesn't mean everything is perfect and there's room for more improvement, but this episode was a notably confidant and well-paced one that felt far more natural than some of last fall's early installments.
The humor and interplay are not feeling nearly as forced and there were a lot of likable moments in "End of the Beginning," with the team feeling much more genuine. I liked Bill Paxton in his first appearance, but Garrett also stood out as funnier and more fully formed this time, with an easy rapport with the team. Garrett and Skye had a really good scene together, as he sat down and chatted with her about everything happening and how she was doing.
