Chloe O’Brian was an unlikely candidate to become Jack Bauer’s longest-running and, ultimately, perhaps his most trusted confidant, but as 24 went on, fans came to love the offbeat friendship between the stoic, badass Jack and the quirky, often-grumpy Chloe – whose presence in Jack’s ear and quick thinking with a computer helped him out of many, many jams.
With 24: Live Another Day reviving the series this coming Monday, I spoke to Mary Lynn Rajskub about reprising her role as Chloe and the very different place we find her in – having left her government job behind to become an off the grid hacker, who is on less than friendly terms with Jack when the series begins.
