Gran Turismo 6 developer Polyphony Digital has revealed new content the studio has produced celebrating the all-too-short life of legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna.
Working with the Ayrton Senna Institute, Polyphony has prepared several tributes for Senna. A short documentary focused primarily on the Ayrton Senna Institute is available to watch now on Gran Turismo’s Ayrton Senna Tribute page, and a pair of special slideshows will be published there also from May 12 and May 19.
These presentations will be followed by in-game content scheduled for the second half of May. This will be a free update for GT6. The exact details of what will feature in this DLC haven’t been revealed, but it would appear Senna’s Lotus 97T (the car that propelled him to his first pole and first GP win at the 1985 Portuguese Grand Prix) will be a part of it.
