When publisher Konami absorbed former developer Hudson in 2011, the Bonk series was in limbo –– until Bonk: Brink of Extinction was cancelled entirely the next year. But recent footage shows what appears to be a build of the game before its cancellation.
The gameplay video was published May 10 on YouTube user Bonk Brink's profile. It's unclear what ties the user has to Hudson, Konami or any other parties affiliated with the Bonk series, but the footage does appear to show the titular caveman platforming through a 2D environment.
