Former Intel Exec Says Apple Working on Search Engine IGN All

Avram Miller, a retired Intel Corp. vice president, says that Apple is working on a Google search engine competitor that will be unveiled in fall 2015.


Writing on his blog, Miller makes the claim Steve Jobs started the Apple Found project before his death, which is supposedly a direct competitor to Google's search engine. "It was not important to Apple to monetize Search, what was important was for Apple to disable the Google money machine to defend its franchise," Miller wrote.


But the former Intel exec doesn't stop there. According to Miller, Jobs pre-recorded an announcement message for Apple Found before his death for the service's unveiling.
