NBC have announced their fall schedule, along with some of their plans for midseason. The announcement includes the confirmations that Parks and Recreation and the just-renewed Parenthood are going into their respective final seasons.
As many suspected, DC Comics adaptation Constantine will join Grimm on Friday nights, with the two similarly-themed series airing back-to-back. There’s no word on when Hannibal will return as yet. It’s almost a certainty the low-rated but beloved show will be back on Fridays, but how soon it returns will likely be determined by how successful Constantine is and how many episodes that show gets. If Constantine, like Grimm, has a full 22-episode season, it’s always possible Hannibal doesn’t air until summer, which has been a possibility every year so far for Hannibal – though it has obviously ended up debuting sooner each season.
