On a team featuring a trigger happy raccoon, a talking tree and two jade-hued bruisers, it takes a lot for Peter Quill to stand out. Sure he's good with the ladies, and yes he's made a name for himself as a spacefaring adventurer/karaoke singer, but ultimately Quill takes second shrift to his more visually arresting teammates. Writer Sam Humphries aims to break this perception, putting Quill front and center as the star of his entertaining new ongoing, the Legendary Star-Lord.
