NBC has picked up its summer medical drama for a 14-episode second season. Yes, renegade Dr. T.C. Callahan (Eoin Macken) will return for more bureaucracy bashing.
TVLine notes that The Night Shift premiered strong with 7.8 million viewers and has maintained around 6 million per week since. Season 1's 8-episode run will end on July 15th.
