Diamond Comics released their sales figures for September 2014 today. After a string of months with Marvel as the best-selling publisher, DC roared to the front of the line on the strength of their month-long Futures End event, with 36.58% dollar share and 40.76% unit share. According to DC, they sold approximately 3.5 million comics last month. But while Marvel was knocked down to second place overall, with 32.04% dollar share and 34.11% unit share, they did have the two best-selling comics of the month thanks to the Death of Wolverine mini-series.
DC's top performers for September included Batman: Futures End #1 and Harley Quinn: Futures End #1. Apparently Harley mania is only getting stronger with time. Marvel also placed in the top ten with Amazing Spider-Man #6 and Original Sin #8.
