Uber Enertainment, developer of Planetary Annihilation and Monday Night Combat, has announced a new PC real-time strategy game called Human Resources. The studio is seeking $1.4 million on Kickstarter to make its apocalyptic RTS, which has some ambitious and interesting ideas, as its debut trailer indicates.
Human Resources focuses on both large-scale battles -- enormous units and huge fights -- and destruction -- every building in the game is destructible -- in addition to harvesting humanity to improve your faction's economy. The two announced factions, Machines and The Ancient Ones, have distinct, asymmetrical features, and can "end matches thunderously by summoning massive overlords to consume the entire game world." Additionally, units can use buildings as weapons against each other, cut the map in half, and blast holes in the battlefield.
