Netflix and 41 Entertainment have announced Kong: King of the Apes, an original animated television series aimed at kids.
This CGI animation will be set in San Francisco in 2050. Alcatraz Island has been converted into a Natural History and Marine Preserve - but when star attraction Kong escapes and becomes the world's most hunted fugitive, the villain that framed him is free to unleash an army of giant robotic dinosaurs on the world. Naturally, Kong is the only force formidable enough to stop these dinosaurs.
