As previously rumored, Agent Peggy Carter, a supporting character from the Captain America films with her own new spinoff TV series, will appear in the upcoming Ant-Man film.
Latino Review confirmed the news after a call went out for stand-ins and body doubles for Hayley Atwell, the actress who plays Peggy Carter. It's unclear how prominent a role Atwell will play in Ant-Man, but early drafts of the script contain a prologue in which Hank Pym, the mastermind behind the Ant-Man armor –– and being played by Michael Douglas –– meets several members of S.H.I.E.L.D.
