Obsidian Entertainment has released new details of its upcoming Skyforge, explaining how the NPC “Adepts” will function.
Skyforge is a sci-fi fantasy MMO in which players assume the role of gods who gain power by attracting followers to their order.
These worshipers include Adepts, special followers that act as champions for the player by completing special missions, each with their own profession that makes them especially suited for certain kinds of missions.
Completing missions gives valuable rewards like gifts and additional followers, while failure only returns a fraction of the bounty. If a player completes enough missions in the same province their reputation will rise to the point that the locals send regular gifts.
