After much speculation, actor Andy Serkis has personally confirmed he's the ominous narrator heard in the first Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens trailer.
The actor confirmed the rumours to both Good Morning America and the UK's Absolute Radio. In an interview with the latter, Serkis laughed at the idea that many people thought they were hearing Benedict Cumberbatch, who has a habit of popping up in popular movies these days.
"Oh no!" the actor laughed. "I'm sure Benedict doesn't need anymore attention at the moment, for goodness' sake".
Of course, when pressed on who he would be playing in the film, Serkis zipped up.
