Season 1 of HBO's The Leftovers was based on the book of the same name by Tom Perrotta. But given that there's no follow-up book, many have wondered what Season 2 will be about.
So creator/showrunner Damon Lindelof and Perrotta, who acts as a producer and writer on the series, are facing some interesting creative choices. And now Deadline is reporting that those choices may come with some cast and location changes.
Word has it that, of the fourteen regular cast members in Season 1, only star Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman (Laurie), Margaret Qualley (Jill), Chris Zylka (Tom), Carrie Coon (Nora), and Christopher Eccleston (Matt) are a lock to come back. The rest is still being figured out, though it's possible that Liv Tyler's Meg and Ann Dowd's Patti may return (Patti as a vision most likely).
