We had to wait an extra week to find out what Haqqani’s attack on the embassy would lead to, but the pay-off was well worth it as Quinn took charge Die Hard-style, Lockhart proved he’s a human being after all, and Carrie and Saul undertook some impromptu sharp-shooting.
Yeah, of course Carrie and Saul were seemingly the sole survivors of the attack on their convoy from last week. And yes, of course poor Redmond bought it as I feared he would, with a ghastly neck wound. We hardly knew ya, John! We’re told that five, make that six, agents were killed in action during the ambush, and that’s even before the second ambush gets underway and Marines start getting picked off as well.
